Do you have to confess your sins to a priest?
No. We confess our sins to God. We do that in the presence of a presbyter who pronounces God's forgiveness, as promised in Scripture (John 20:23; James 5:14-16). Admitting that you have sins is the beginning of repentance - that's half the battle already.
